• Apostle Darrell C. Alder, Sr. / Senior Pastor

Apostle Darrell Alder is an anointed Psalmist, Minstrel, Singer, Songwriter, Preacher, Teacher and Prophet of God. Pastor Alder has been involved in music ministry for more than 35 years and, has been an ordained minister of the gospel for 20 years. Pastor Alder's most anointed callings are those of a Prophet, Minstrel and Psalmist as these ministry gifts allow him to operate in the uniquely anointed ministry of Prophetic Praise and Worship.

Pastor Alder accepted the Lord at a young age and for most of his life, pursued the Lord with the diligence of David, desiring to fulfill his destiny as a 'Man after God's own Heart'. He has served in several capacities as a church musician, Youth Minister, Praise and Worship Leader, Minister of Music, Associate Pastor, Worship and Creative Arts Pastor.

Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, in 1992, Pastor Alder founded Cloud of Glory Worship Center in Raytown Missouri and later moved it to Olathe Kansas, where he served as the Senior Pastor from 1992 to 1995, until the Word of the Lord came to him to move into another Five Fold Office of ministry.

In 1996, while living in Olathe Kansas, Pastor Alder heeded the Word of the Lord, quit his corporate job, and moved his family to Columbia South Carolina where he accepted a Minister of Music position with a local church. Although South Carolina was a place of growth, enlightenment and challenge, Pastor Alder and his family grew in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, and gained a wealth of experience, established life-changing relationships and enjoyed the 4+ years they resided there.

Eventually, the Word of the Lord came again Pastor Alder and his wife Marvel, to move west. Once again, in obedience to the Lord, Pastor Alder relocated his family to Sacramento in October of 2000 and later joined them in December of the same year. Within 4 months of arriving in Sacramento, Pastor Alder was asked to join the Pastoral Staff at Center of Praise Ministries, under Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr., where he served for 3 ½ years as the Pastor of the Worship and Fine Arts Department until September of 2004.

After sharing his Praise and Worship and Prophetic ministries with several churches in the Sacramento area in 2005, 2006 and 2007and 2008, Pastor Alder re-founded Cloud of Glory Worship Center in Rancho Cordova, CA. and is currently serving as the Senior Pastor and Founder.

Pastor Alder's charismatic/prophetic call and insight into the things of God makes his ministry unusual, enlightening, energizing and life-changing. He walks with 'The Prophet's Mantle' firmly upon his shoulders and has vowed to 'obey God at all costs'. Pastor Alder has been married for 30 years to his wife Marvel Martin-Alder and they are blessed with 3 children, Darrell "DC" II, Katreena and Kristeena.
